MARTI PELLOW
Price guide - from £500
He turned professional in 1996 when he won the final of Stars in Their Eyes as the Wet Wet Wet lead singer Marti Pellow. He had a staggering 178,000 votes and a TV audience of 12 million - the biggest of its time. Following his massive success on the show the work as Marti Pellow escalated and Paul found himself performing to sellout shows 4 or 5 times a week, nationally and internationally, singing live on numerous TV shows the likes of The Big Breakfast, This Morning, All Rise with Julien Clary and GMTV to name a few.
Paul has worked alongside stars including Joe Pasquale, Edwin Starr, The Drifters and Brian Connolly, and has had impressive quotes from DJs such as Chris Evans on Radio One who claimed that Paul was "a brilliant vocalist with a magnificent voice and more like Marti Pellow than Marti Pellow!". Paul has continued to work up and down the country as both Marti and in more recent years as himself, with a big fan base still watching his every move.
